Background: Rabbit Hole Distillery was founded by Kaveh Zamanian. All of their whiskey is 100% Kentucky made in Vendome Copper and Brass stills. Rabbit Hole’s Kentucky Straight Bourbon has won various awards like “best straight bourbon” and a gold medal at the 2017 New York Wine and Spirits Competition. They have 4 regular whiskeys, a px sherry finished bourbon, 4 grain bourbon, high rye bourbon whiskey, and straight rye whiskey. They also have a special founder's collection limited release straight rye whiskey.
NOSE: The nose opens up with sweet corn and vanilla notes with a smooth baking spice base. There is also a noticeable scent of fresh apple pie. (22/25)
PALATE: The palate has a very similar flavor profile as the nose. There are citrus notes up front that are accompanies by creamy vanilla that coats your mouth. On the backend of the palate their are delicate flavors of honey and freshly baked apple pie. (32/40)
FINISH: A very smooth and long finish with notes of smooth baking spice, graham cracker, and fresh custard that make it to be a fantastic desserty finish. (21/25)
VALUE: This whiskey carries a $55 SRP which is a good value for this tasty whiskey. (7/10)

FINAL THOUGHTS: Rabbit Hole Cavehill 4 Grain Straight Bourbon is a delicious, sweet, and smooth bourbon whiskey. It is a great bourbon to share with new whiskey drinkers or to have as a dessert whiskey.
